Ksawery Surdel is an entrepreneur and experienced day trader known for his philosophy on life. In this episode, he dives deep into the meaning of life, our purpose here, and how to make the most of our time on earth. He also speaks about his experience at the Monroe Institute where he attended the Gateway Voyage in January 2026. Ksawery believes that we are far more capable, connected, and supported than we’ve ever been taught. According to Ksawery, it is our thoughts that shape our reality. Through deep states of awareness, he describes encounters that challenged his understanding of reality itself, moments of profound connection, clarity, and what he calls a direct experience of consciousness beyond the physical. It wasn’t theory anymore. It was real. He began living by a simple idea — “If you can change your mind, you can change your life.”

Cassari Surdell. It's been a long time coming this podcast from uh from the Knox. Um tell us a little bit about yourself.
SPEAKER_01The legendary Jake Skinell. First things first, brother. God bless. It's a great honor to be here on this podcast with you. It's something that you know we were talking about for quite some time. We've met at the Knox and getting some some lifts and some workouts. One thing leads to another. Starts off as an idea, all of a sudden, and we start talking about it more. First take happens, doesn't happen somewhere out in the ether. And now we're here. So it's incredible.
SPEAKER_00First take was uh six months ago.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, six months ago.
SPEAKER_00No, so now it's failed failed editing.
SPEAKER_01Failed editing.
SPEAKER_00It would have been great, but we'll we'll do it again.
SPEAKER_01But it's incredible because you know, so much has happened in those last six months. Yeah, um, you know, just in my life alone, um, you know, with with the biggest thing, you know, my grandmother passing, you know, a few months ago. And we'll we'll kind of tie that into some of the experiences that that we'll talk about. Um, because it all it's all kind of intertwined. It's this beautiful thing about life where where sometimes even what seems as we have like these low moments, uh, they actually are some of the most beautiful moments in life because when you reflect back on them, it's like, wow, that was the guidance that I needed to get me to the next step of where I am and where I'm going next. Yeah, um, so it's really cool to have this something, you know, something like this. Uh, you know, to be be able to chat with you and then kind of bounce off some some cool ideas.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no doubt. Um, it's an honor to have you. Let's uh let's jump into an intro. This time we'll do it in the first five minutes instead of the third hour. Kasari's story doesn't start with success, it starts with a question. Uh Kasari attended college at Stony Brook University, graduation class of 2019, uh, entrepreneur, day trader, and all of the above. Uh, someone committed to understanding how the mind, emotions, and unseen forces shape the lives we live. An advocate for human excellence, Kasari stresses that we are far more capable, connected, and supported than we've ever been taught. Kasari has been able to separate the reality of logical understanding and intuition, which has helped him find inner peace. Through deep states of awareness, Kasari has faced encounters that challenged his understanding of reality itself, moments of profound connection, clarity, and what he calls a direct experience of consciousness beyond the physical. Kassari preaches that his story, that this is not theory, it is real. Kasari is a man in the pursuit of the truth, and that is the question it starts with what is the truth?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, that's a that's a great intro. I appreciate that. Uh a lot to unpack there. Um it's interesting how all of that kind of intertwines into who we are in this in this body and in this vessel that that we possess. Um, you know, what is the truth? I mean, that's you know, I think one of one of my attributes that I have is is just the curiosity, you know, curiosity about life, curiosity about who we are, what we're here for, what are our purposes? Um, and that curiosity has kind of fueled me to finding out like something as simple as, you know, why are we here? You know, like what's what's the purpose of us being in these physical bodies? What's the purpose of going through these lows, lows, and highs? Like, what's what's the whole purpose of that? And uh, you know, through through life experiences, you you you kind of get gain a better understanding of not only why you're here, but also what it means in this grand scheme of things, whether you want to call it a game or whether you want to you want to call it life, this whole grand scheme of why we're actually here. Now, in terms of you know the truth, um, you know, that's that's uh that's an interesting question because even the truth itself, some people would say there's there's multiple levels of the truth just because of how we perceive everything in our life. You know, you and I could go ahead and see the same kind of situation walking down the street, but have a different perception on it and and you know talk back about the experience completely differently based on the way that we perceive life itself. You know, if you were having a really bad day, you may say, you know, if you saw an accident, you may say, Think that was the worst thing that possibly happened, while somebody else who's having a you know an okay day wouldn't even know there was an accident that happened. Yeah, so it's it's quite interesting how all that stuff works and how that intertwines, but also it just comes to show you how important your belief system is in the way that you perceive life itself.
SPEAKER_00You said something that I found interesting. Um, the word you used like a vessel, right? And you know, I I recently I wasn't as religious as I am now. That probably kicked in about three years ago, maybe two years ago. Um, and I started diving you know deeper into it and understanding you know, it it made me do a lot more research and you know, looking try to figure out what you know what is going on, especially when when my grandmother passed away too, right, which wasn't long before you. Um and I I I've been able to understand and separate right consciousness, your soul, and your vessel, right? And we're only here for on average 70 years, call it a hundred years, right? And then what happens after that? Right? We understand like energy can't be killed, it can't dissipate, you can't get rid of energy, right? And our whole our whole body runs on an electromagnetic current, right? So our brains actually run on the same electromagnetic current frequency as a light bulb and refrigerator, right? Which I find amazing because we're obviously significantly more complex, right? But you say the word vessel, and you know, I there was a bunch of alien conspiracy theories online and where um you know it was talking about the vessel and you know, like the different forms of communication, the thing with Bashar, stuff like that. And I don't know, I just find that word interesting, and I want you to kind of dive into that, right? And I know you went to the Monroe Institute, right? These were all things that I'm gonna want to get into, but I'm sure that that term came up there, no?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, so it's interesting. I mean, it's different people have different terminologies for the way that we talk about things, but regardless of the way that you spin it, we're all talking about the same thing. And I'll give you an example where it's like people are talking about some people say god, some people say universe, some people say, you know, the powers that be, but we're all talking about this, this, this higher infinite intelligence, this higher, you know, being um that we're talking about. Now, in terms of this vessel, it's like our body, like if you think of a container, yeah, and and you could only hold a container, a vessel, yeah. You could only hold so much liquid. And what happens is that if you want to hold more liquid, you want to hold more life, you actually have to expand. So naturally, what what we're doing as we're going through life, where we're naturally expanding, we're naturally evolving. And you see, you know, so sometimes those negative moments, those negative lulls, what you're doing is you're actually expanding your vessel so you could actually hold on to more. But the thing is that, and this is kind of like the what you see happen a lot of time, is that the expansion has happened. You know, if you're asking, say, say you're broke and you're asking for more money, that that the the source, the the the universe has God has answered you automatically. Because when you ask for something, it's given right away, instantaneously. The problem is that people are blaming, complaining, talking about the past and why they don't have the money instead of starting to focus on where the money is. Because as our vessel, we've already expanded. Now it's just about closing that gap. And how do you close that gap? And this is really what what life is really all about because life, the creation process of life itself is a three-step process. First, you ask for something and you do that automatically. Second, the universe, God, source, it answers and it answers instantaneously. And this is and then this part, the the last part, the third part, it's the it's the aligning part, it's being in the receptive mode so that you know when you when you get that nudge, that that feeling of like, hey, I should try this, I should do this, I should go there, and then boom, before you know it, that thing that it comes into your life. But it happens, it doesn't happen, you know, supernaturally, it happens naturally. And that's really like the thing about creating a life that that you want, a life that that you desire, about becoming unlimited. This is exactly that where it's about closing that gap and making it natural.
SPEAKER_00Let me ask you, right, is there a um how how do you connect to that, right? I mean, I I know some people like to meditate, right? I'm sure there's all these different exercises or things that you can do to kind of get in touch with that side of yourself, right? I mean, what what do you what do you recommend?
SPEAKER_01I'll tell you, I'll tell you a story. And this was roughly two years ago. I was going through a really dark time in life, and and I just felt I just felt so I don't want to say lost, but I just had no idea like what I was supposed to do next. And I was you know, I was frustrated and and and just kind of like I had no idea what to do. And I remember scrolling on YouTube, and you know, there there was and this is funny because life gives you themes, you have things that kind of reappear to you over and over and over again. And I had this this this this idea, I'm like, oh like I'm gonna meditate, but I didn't really think much of it. I was kind of like, oh, like I should meditate, I should do that. Like, I don't I don't really think much of it. And as I'm going through this darkness, I feel like I've lost myself completely, completely. And I'm I'm working at home, and I I I go on YouTube and I see a Dr. Joe Dispenza. I see a Dr. Joe Dispenza um interview, and it's with Lewis Howe and Dr. Joe Dispenza talks about meditation, and he talks about you know you're uh you know what book did he write? Uh book that there's a few of them being becoming supernatural, you are the placebo, uh books, uh, books like that. But so I was af after listening to to like all his top topics and his talks, and he's talking about people stepping out of wheelchairs and people who have cancer or chronic uh illnesses, and they're able to heal themselves, or even something where you know doctors say there's no cure for this, and all of a sudden, you know, a few months go by, a person is is meditating, tapping into the void, and all of a sudden they're becoming a brand new individual. So I go on, I go on YouTube, I type in Dr. Joe Dispensa meditation. I'm like, you know what, I'm just gonna find the meditation that you know has the most amount of views. And you know, a few months later I found out that it was actually AI, wasn't it? Actually an original Dr. Joe Dispensa meditation. But either way, so I I do this meditation and it's 35 minutes, and he's like, you know, you know, take a deep breath, let it out, you know, and then there's a part where it's like in the vision, like if you were leaving living your ideal life, like what would that look like? How would you how would you act? How would you behave? You know, how how would you have conversations with other people? So I kind of I kind of did that. And the most incredible thing about that is right after that, I felt so happy, I felt so joyful. It felt like all of what I thought were problems in life, they almost like disappeared. It didn't feel like a problem anymore. And it was quite incredible because right after that, I feel like I reclaimed my voice. I felt like now, you know, when I was talking with my friends, or in this case, my ex-girlfriend or my my ex-partner. Uh now it's it's I'm I feel like I'm standing up for myself. I feel like I'm standing up for my voice, and it I just feel so much lighter and happier. So after that, you know, long story short, a few months go by and I still feel like I'm in the gutter, and I still remember to the day because Dr. Joe, you know, when I was listening to Dr. Joe Dispenser, he's like, you gotta make a decision so that's so important that at the end of the day, you remember that day for the rest of your life. So I remember this day, September 27th, 2024. I said, I'm gonna meditate for an exactly a year, every single day for at least a year, whether it be five minutes, whether it be 15 minutes, whether it be an hour, really didn't matter. But I said it's gonna be a little experiment just for myself. Let's see what happens. So I I start meditating every single day, and and this kind of like transitions to where we're going next. I meditate for the first six months. I still feel like shit. I I just feel uh you know, I feel depressed, I feel sad. There was a point, there was a moment in time right before I started meditating where I literally even had like had these ideas where it's like, oh, like what would happen like if I wasn't here? Like, you know, like what would happen if if you know I just disappeared. You know, I never I never thought about like committing suicide, but it was it was just like dark thoughts that I was being faced with. So I realized I need to make a change with myself. And for those six months, you know, things got a little better, things got a little better. And then I remember this was like middle of summer of last year, 2025. I do a meditation and I feel so freaking good. It's that feeling that I had when I first felt it. I felt happy, I felt joyful, I felt like everything was just kind of aligning the way that it should be.
SPEAKER_00But when you when you meditate like that, how do you know that it's working, right? I I've tried it before. Um, you know, and I told you this in the sauna, right? Like my mind is going a million miles an hour, right? It's like my mind's on cocaine, right? So I I close my eyes, I sit there, I try to meditate, I start thinking of work, I start thinking of things I gotta do, I start thinking of uh everything I got going on, right? And it's like, how do you block all that out and focus, right? And recently I was able to do it for the first time on Sunday. I had a sparring match. Um so the night before I was like, all right, let me just try to get everything out of my mind and mentally prepare, right? Um I sat down, I turned on a YouTube video of meditation music, right? And I tried to visualize. So I was you know, like you know, when you go to bed before night, you you close your eyes, you see start seeing all these pictures of different things, right? It's like, all right, how do I get all those pictures? So I tried to visualize, I was like, all right, just a black screen with like a little white light at the end. So I'm like, all right, focus on the white light. So I have my eyes closed, I'm focused on that, so my brain's not racing, and I hear the music, and then once all was said and done, my phone rang and it ruined everything. But before that happened, before that happened, I felt extremely relaxed, right? For like the first time in a while. But I don't know if it worked or not, right? Because I think when people hear meditate, they think of like like the like monks and stuff who are able to meditate and go somewhere else completely, right? So like when you're meditating, like what do you mean exactly? Do you just feel extremely relaxed? Do you feel a sense of relief? Do you actually feel some kind of outer body experience? You know, like how do you know, all right, like I I did it, right? Like, what's the feeling? Yeah, as crazy as it I'm thinking, or is it just not that crazy and you achieve it and it just compounds over time? You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Well, the first things first, I'll say there is no such thing as a bad meditation. Yeah, you being able to just to set set a little bit of time for yourself. First things first, you're showing up for yourself. Second things first, there's you know, meditation and mindfulness has proven that there is extreme you know health benefits in the long term. Um, the second thing is that you're saying your mind's running a million miles a second, uh, you know, and that's kind of like normal, where it's like you have a train that's going, you know, 80 miles one way, and then all of a sudden you want it to go 80 miles the other way. It just it just can't happen. And if it does, it's it's not gonna be a pleasant experience. So essentially what you want to do is you want when you're meditating, you're actually slowing down your brain waves. That's what you're doing. You're slowing down your brain, slowing them down, slowing them down, and then eventually you get to a point where you're just neutral, where there's really nothing really going on in your brain, you just have a clear brain, and then this is where it gets really fun because that next step is you actually could start either like receiving like images, blocks of thoughts, or just like an idea where it's there, there are times where I come out of a meditation and all of a sudden I'm just like, Oh man, I gotta go do this, I gotta go do that. And you know, when I do it, it's like everything just aligns beautifully. Um, so it's things like that. Um on on the flip side, um the the thing with uh with with meditation is there is no such thing as a bad meditation. Yeah, um, you know, it's it's it's all about just showing up for yourself, doing things for yourself.
SPEAKER_00Um but have you ever meditated so deeply where you felt that kind of outer body experience? Or has it never gone that far?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. So I've I've had I could probably say I've had two, maybe three, you know, out-of-body experiences. Um, not always do they come during the meditation, sometimes they come after. Uh one of them happened, you know, when I was asleep, and all of a sudden it's like my body starts vibrating, it starts shaking. And I'm you know, I I remember this where it's like it's almost it almost feels like a lucid dream. A lucid dream is is is you know where where you're able to control things that are happening inside your dream. So it feels like that, but it feels more real because you have the emotions that are associated with it. But before I even like get to that point, it's it's um better show me something. Don't touch the mic. Yeah. Um before before I before I even like uh you know get to that point, it took me it took me roughly about a year to get to that point. But it and it's not because you know that that's just me, it's just because I had so much stuff that I was holding on to, so much emotional trauma, so much what you could call baggage that I was holding on to, that those things weren't even my in my reception, those things weren't even a possibility for me at that time. Uh and you know, so I'll tell you how it got into the Monroe Institute because this kind of ties in well, yeah, right to like outer body experiences.
SPEAKER_00That's big. Um I saw uh I saw a video tied to the Monroe Institute, and it actually talked about the outer body experiences while you're dreaming, right? And I'm sure how long were you there for?
SPEAKER_01Is it is it like it's roughly a week. So it's like a week one.
SPEAKER_00And that's Gateway Voyage, same thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well, Gateway Voyage is the introductory program at the Monroe Institute.
SPEAKER_00Okay, okay, makes sense. Yeah, so what I was watching explained that a lot of people, 25% of the population can confirm they've had out-of-body experiences, right?
SPEAKER_01And by the way, so real quick, just just to introduce uh stop you right there, most people actually have had about out-of-body experience. And the reason why and they say that is you know, those dreams when you had as a kid where you were like flying and you were falling into a body.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, right. And that that's exactly what they said. I'm pretty sure this was a Robert Monroe documentary thing that I was watching. I watched on YouTube. Um, and that's what that's exactly what they said. They said when you're falling in your dream, it can only be one of two things. Either you're physically falling off your bed, so your mind is sending signals like wake up, yeah, or that is the outer body experience and your not your soul, but your conscious, right? Because your conscious is what can travel in and out of the body. Your conscious comes back down, and as it comes back down, those dreams you have where you're falling and you wake yourself up. Um those people have had outer body experiences just don't know. And again, this ties back to what you were saying in the beginning about the reality um that we live in and the reality that we shape, right? Our minds literally can't recognize the outer body experience. So our mind tells us, oh, you're falling in a dream, right? Because that's the world we know. I don't know if you saw the Kanye thing with the with the coffee tables. It's actually, have you seen that or no? Talks about stupid example, but it it it makes sense. Um, like little kids jumping on a coffee table and his parents yelling at him, and they're like, get off the coffee table, you're not supposed to jump on the coffee table. But the little kids there are like, he doesn't give a shit about coffee, doesn't give a shit about a table. He's got his superhero cape on, yeah, he's living alone, he's just having a good time, yeah, right? But now he's programmed in his mind forever that all right, this is how a coffee table is supposed to be treated. And bottom line is we're just talking about a coffee table right now, but the rest of the world gets shaped that way around somebody, right? And their perspective changes and their reality becomes fixed, and they drift further and further away from understanding the difference between your soul, your conscious, your vessel, right? And we we end up just you know 31 years old living here, Jake Skinell in this body. Well, it's it's a podcast.
SPEAKER_01It's interesting because it's interesting because our our intellectual mind tries to reason things that our our our higher mind is is trying to you know convey to us. And you'll say it's oh, it's like I was falling, or like I think the best example I could give you is like uh uh like when you when you when you feel absolutely in love, you don't really have words to describe that, but you you'll say it'll it was kind of like this, it was kind of like that, but words just don't do it justice because your logical mind can't comprehend that. But then again, like if you take it a step further, that's also like when when you know people who are like, hey, I need to know you know 10 steps ahead before I should I could I could actually get started, and they actually never start because the logical mind can't see everything, but the higher mind, the the the the the source mind, the god mind, it it knows already, it it knows and it's trying to just kind of get you get you going, right? And one thing that I realized that actually helps a lot in that is actually staying present in the present moment, you know, when you're not focused on the past, you're not focused on the future, when you could just be right here in the present moment, because that's where those nudges come from, and they're happening each and every single day.
SPEAKER_00That that guy sent you on Instagram. Oh, Bashar, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Is his name Bashar or does he channel Bashar? So uh the guy's name is Daryl Anka. All right, and he channels an entity called Bashar.
SPEAKER_00But he talks about that all the time. Like in every one of his uh conferences or whatever you want to call it, um, he talks about just living in the moment. Yes. And that's what like when he's channeling Bashar or whoever else he channels, right? A lot of people look at that and say it's bullshit. A lot of people look at it and be like, okay, that's real. Um But yeah, he he speaks about that a lot, just like stay in the moment, live in the moment. And you know, it's it you know, it's funny you say that because I've been boxing a lot recently, and it's two minute rounds, right? So as a spectator, you'd sit there and be like, all right, two minute rounds, one minute break, two minute rounds, one minute break, two minute rounds. So I'm fighting for six minutes. It doesn't seem like a lot of time, right? But when you're in the ring and you're fatigued and you're tired and everything is highly calculated, six minutes feels like an hour. Each round almost feels like an hour, right? And it's all it almost kind of opened me up to like understanding like yo, you can kind of control time when you're like really focused in the moment, right? Ten seconds in a fight feels like five minutes, right? Because I'm so focused, calculated, dialed in, fatigued into that moment, right? So it's like, all right, well, obviously we all want more time here, right? Why not treat everything that way? Right? Where I can make a boxing match feel like fucking five hours, but it's six minutes, right? Why should anything else be? You know, you snooze your alarm for five minutes, you probably snooze longer than I'm gonna fight in November this morning, you know. Or maybe you're not maybe you're not snooze I'm not a snooze, no, but I can guarantee that 90% of the people did, you know what I mean? Um, but yeah, I want to tell me about the Monroe Institute, right? So I know, yeah, so this is all probably coming from there. Am I correct?
SPEAKER_01Look, uh most of it. There are there are definitely like some things. I I I'll I'll kind of backtrack and like how I first heard about them, um, just to kind of give you like an idea. Um, so back when I was doing these meditations, you know, I I was saying how like in June I was feeling, you know, I started feeling a little happier, a little lighter, so on and so forth. And then by November, I remember you know, there was a time where I stopped doing the meditations for like a few weeks. I was kind of like, yeah, I don't need it. I got back into them, I started feeling good again. And I remember this day, I think it was November 2nd. I was just super freaking happy. I woke up as a Saturday morning, I was so freaking happy and just excited. I was going to California to visit my brother, and I'm getting ready. I'm scrolling on Twitter and I see this, I see this post where it's like, you know, want want to manifest your best life? Will the CIA find out how to do that? And I was just like, What? And then I look in the comments and this guy posted, yeah, like I was a trainer at the Monroe Institute. You know, the the top executives at Silicon Valley, like a lot of them, you know, went through like the gateway uh experience. And I was just like, Hold on, there may be something here. And for the next, you know, I I had to leave, I'm getting in the cab for the next hour, hour and a half, as I'm in the airport, getting to the airport, I'm just consuming all the type of content. I mean, I was just so invested in this thing because I was like, What is this thing? You know, I was captivating, and then you know, I found out that the CIA actually did some like research studies back in the 1980s. Uh, one of like the the army officers, he went through the training and he wrote a whole report, and that report is so fascinating. I tried, you know, on reading it the first time. Obviously, after I read it a few times, it started to make more sense. But he was essentially saying how everything in the universe is all just holographic images, like everything, even like this right here, is a holographic image. But because her mind and her eyes are so good at interpreting it, it's just a series of still images, right? And then he was saying that if you want to actually change your life, envision a scenario, a situation, a picture of you in that holographic image, and shine and and but by putting more energy, what's energy, just emotion, by putting more emotion into it, you actually bring it into your life. But there was one caution that he had, and he said, You if you do it with with too much power, with too much force, you actually made this lodge reality. What does that mean? Say if you you want to have, say, I want to have a million dollars, or I want my business to start booming, or you know, I want um something some crazy something crazy to happen. Well, that that thing may happen to you, but it may come at the cost of say losing a loved one, yeah, or you getting into a car accident and and you know having to go through you know a whole medical process. Sure, you got the money from the lawsuit after, but it was that thing. So that was also very fascinating. And then I get on the I get on the plane, I get on the flight, and I found the extra I found some of the exercises on YouTube, and I think I did four of them back to back. Just it was 30 minutes, 35 minutes. I'm like, Oh, this is easy. One, two, three, four. My head started pounding. But I will say though, for somebody who was meditating at that point for 14 months, putting in those that audio tape, the first one, just the introduction, I felt an automatic difference. My body just felt calmer. I felt like it's kind of like buzzing in my um in my ears, but it wasn't something where it was like, oh, this is scary. It was like, oh my gosh, this is so cool!
SPEAKER_00Like, who was the guy I uh I brought up earlier? Robert Monroe. No, before that, remember uh Daryl Joe mentioned his name. Oh, um, I can't think of his name. I can't think of his name either. It's on my phone, but anyway, uh I'll I'll think of it later. Um he talked about the whole holographic thing, right? Right when you said that, it made me think of that. And um he's he brought up the uh Jesus, what was it? I lost it, but but it was the whole holographic thing and how um basically, yeah, like the whole reality is shaped based on how you see it. And you were talking about coming from a point um where you can control it, right? And you know, I read the Brian Tracy sales books and stuff like that, and he's big on I don't want to call it manifesting. Um it's not really manifesting, but it's more so just speaking confidently and having no doubt, right? And rather than saying, I will make a million dollars or I will become right, you say I have it, I am, I am, right? In the present moment, absolutely your prayer should be that way, your um your manifestation should be that way. Um, but when you're talking about controlling it, right? Like dumb it down. Like, how do you how do you control that?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so let me let me just kind of backtrack it just a little bit, and then everything else that I say is gonna make a lot more sense, and I'm gonna answer your question. But I'm gonna backtrack a little bit. So the Mudro Monroe Institute, so it was like you said, this guy, Robert Monroe, and the way that it started for him is he in the night in 1958, he was having some crazy out-of-body experiences. Um, you know, before that, you know, he was big into like um radio stations, that's some radios very big, and then he was he was trying to teach people how to learn and and study uh while they were sleeping. So he started incorporating some like sleep noises and that over time. Is that what the Hertz? The well beta, gamma, well, it's getting it's getting it's getting into that. So that's kind of like the the building blocks for where he was going with that next. But he so he started doing that, and then you know, all of a sudden, just imagine you're taking a nap on your couch, and all of a sudden it feels like you're in your body, but you're not like you're just having all kinds of like vivid emotions and sensations. So he he was having what you know we're deemed out-of-body experiences where his his you know his um soul or spirit was kind of leaving his body and you know, traveling or going to different parts of the world. And you know, we live in a time-space reality, but you know, in the in the in the in the world outside of that, you know, there is no time or space. It's just everything's just happening now, it's just now, now, now. So that's why when they talk about when you talk about manifesting, when you ask for something, it happens now, it happens automatically. Because in the spirit world, there is no time or space.
SPEAKER_00Does that have anything to do with like astral projecting? If you know you're familiar with that, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So so astral astral projecting, uh out-of-body experiences. I mean, some people use that inter interchangeably.
SPEAKER_00So it's kind of this the same thing, exactly, just different, right?
SPEAKER_01Right, right. It's just a a different world, astral projection, uh, you know, projecting a part of your astral body or or like your your spirit body. Um, so either way, so this guy starts having this experience. He goes to the doctor, he's like, Hey, like, you know, is there something wrong with me? And the guy's like, No, like you know, you're my friend, I don't see anything wrong with you, you're a successful businessman, so on and so forth. And then over time, he ended up finding out that you know these were kind of like you know spiritual experiences. And I've read a few of his books, and I gotta say, it's some captivating stuff. Yeah, um, I'll tell you one story where he's like, I was backtracked to the time of like, you know, uh, you know, 900 BC, like before Christ. And he's like, if you imagined he he he saw like a woman taking a scoop of corn, and then she just imagined or she's like, I want corn, and all of a sudden, you know, from the dirt that she put in her hand, she has corn coming out of it. So it was kind of fascinating because your thoughts turned to things almost instantaneously back in the day. Now we have a lot more programming, we have a lot more resistance in our systems, so it kind of slows things down. Um, but either way, so he started exploring, you know, that's when you start exploring different states of consciousness, and that's when he created, you know, what what they call the different focus levels, different states of awareness. You have focus 10, focus 12, focus 15, focus 21, so on and so forth. But the whole purpose of these things is just to help you focus on a certain type of thing. Like right now, I'm sitting, I'm talking to you, I'm in the focus 12 state. I'm I'm I'm aware of things that are going on or you know, around me. I'm open to it to receiving you know thoughts and ideas, but I'm also able to exchange that. So it's a free flow of exchange of of information.
SPEAKER_00So I saw I I I saw something on like focus 15 and focus 21. And well, what's the difference between 15, 21?
SPEAKER_01So focus 15 is is uh notes um no time. So just imagine you're able to go back in time, you're able to go forward in time, you're able to see what your future looks like, you're able to see what your past looks like. You could even see yourself being born, like because you know, crazy things like that. Um, focus 21 is the birth to other realities. So that's usually where you if you want to connect with somebody who's deceased or passed passed away, like you would go to focus 21. Um, would you say that's like inner dimensional? Um, yeah, I mean it definitely is, but it it's it's it's interesting because when you when we talk about these things, it almost feels like hey, well, we're in these physical bodies, it almost feels like we're going somewhere, but we're really not, like you're just going inside your mind. Uh, even Einstein said, you know, we only use 10% of our body, uh excuse me, 10% of our brain, the other nine per 90%. And that that kind of has to do with some of that. Like, our brain has so many capabilities. How crazy is this? You're able to imagine something, feel the emotion of it, and then lo and behold, in in a in a time, you know, later on, able to actually experience that thing for better or for worse, you know, and this kind of ties into the way in which people are living life, where it's like you're you're thinking about things, you're talking about things, you're you're feeling emotions, and then all of a sudden it's like your life is showing you that later on. And you know, most people are doing it against themselves, where it's like, I can't do this, it's too hard, it's too difficult, I don't know how I'm gonna do it, I don't deserve this. And then guess what? Life ends up reflecting that. Yeah, that's how you end up living a basic, you know, uh mediocre life. Versus on the flip side, you know, it's hey, you know, I I do I I'm the I'm worthy, I deserve great things to happen to me, I deserve, you know, wonderful things, and and and and building a life that that you truly want. Um it's just that back and forth.
SPEAKER_00So last time uh we talked about some interesting stuff um like the the double split ex uh double slit experiment, right? Quantum entanglement. You mentioned Albert Einstein, 1935, but I think he he was kind of against the whole quantum entanglement thing, was he not?
SPEAKER_01Well, the the whole idea with quantum entanglement is is things that have happened have a a you know, everything is intertwined. Yeah, it's like something happening on the different part of the world that has a has uh effect that something happening over here.
SPEAKER_00But here's the thing, right? I I I forget what year it was, but not too long ago, there was like three Nobel Prize winners for quantum entanglement and like proving it scientifically, so like it's no longer theory, it's no longer bullshit, like you know, it's proven science now, right? Um explain it though, like explain what it is.
SPEAKER_01Well, so that you have to double split where it essentially tells you that differently. Well, these are two separate things, right? Right.
SPEAKER_00Double split is more like observation-based, right?
SPEAKER_01And quantum entanglement is more it's it's that a that a particle could be either depending on the whether it's being observed or not, it it behaves a different type of way, right? Um and then quantum entanglement is essentially saying how we're all intertwined and how everything has an effect on everything. It's almost like kind of like uh like a domino effect, yeah. Um and well, I mean, and look, it's it's we're all energy at the end of the day, like you know, we're we're we're we're two uh we're energetical beings at the end of the day, so it's no surprise that that's actually the thing. And and you could tell that, like people have psychic abilities. Where does that come from? It's like they can walk into a room and kind of just already know you you pick up on on the vibe of the room. Yeah, it's kind of like your your sixth sense, it's your psychic abilities um that that you end up having.
SPEAKER_00So you come from like a Catholic background, right? You were raised in a Catholic house. Yeah. Um what's your opinion on everything now? Right, given all the information that you have and everything that you've learned, would you say that that increased your core religious beliefs or decrease like where do you stand to that?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, look, I think being raised Catholic was one of the greatest blessings that I could have had. I think it was my first introduction to God or this concept of God. Yeah, um, or even you could say a higher power that it actually exists. It made life a lot in a way in in those darker darker moments, it made life a little bit easier. Um, and then those brighter moments, you know, it it almost felt like a like like a blessing as well. But it was my first introduction to really like a higher power, a higher being. Um, I think over time, you know, I I've I I I think the word God gets misconstrued. Um, and that's why I could see why certain people don't like using the word God, you know, they may say infinite intelligence, they say may source energy, they may say the universe. Because the thing with God is God's an all-loving being. And when when I say all loving, I mean just think about just think about it when you love yourself on on your greatest day, your greatest day of the world, or your greatest day of your life, God loves you 10 times, 100 times more than that. Um, I I think with with religion just in general, I think sometimes that that that concept of God is misconstrued because you know it's made to say if you don't do X, you know, God is gonna ru it is gonna punish you in in Y terms. Um and that that couldn't be further from the truth, you know. God's an old loving God that that loves you and well if if you think about it, right?
SPEAKER_00Like even if everything's operating off of positive and negative energy, right? Um, and from the Catholic standpoint, right, you can do good or you can do bad. Right. And like you were saying, like, all right, for example, if you sin a lot and you don't repent, then you go to hell, right? Or whatever. Um I feel like these can all be interpretations of all right, you're committing too much negative energy. Or you're committing enough positive energy, right? And you know, like what is God? God is the all-seeing energy, right?
SPEAKER_01Well, here's the thing like there in in in the spirit world, there is no such thing as negative or positive, it just is. Yeah, there was no good or bad, it just is. Your perception of it is what makes it good or bad. The worst thing could happen, it's good. The or excuse, the worst thing could happen, it's bad. The best thing could happen, it's good. But if that's all your perception of it, um, and I guess the good example is that people like some of the worst people that you know, but like things are just working out for them. You're just like, how are good things happening? Why is God rewarding them? It's because they're not looking at the other side of the equation. They're they know what they want, they're obsessed with it, and they're not looking for other people's opinions. I think you I think this is you know something that we're seeing uh more and more of nowadays, where it's like you have people's minds that are that are so you don't know which way is up, you don't know what's right, you don't know what's wrong, and you're looking for other people, you know, you're looking for figures of authority to tell you, let me go ask my priest, let me go ask my doctor, let me go ask my boss, let me go, because your your your brain you you're your your brain where you don't know which way is up. Um, one of the things that I love about you know meditation is that it puts you back in into homeostasis, it calms down those nerves. So now you're actually able to think for yourself. Now you're actually able to actually consult with yourself. There's nothing or nobody that knows what's best for you more than you, you know. You could ask me, like, hey, Kasari, like, what do you think about XYZ? But it doesn't really matter because your life experience has caused you to live out and and know what you want, know what you don't want. And at the end of the day, it may be right for you, but it may be wrong for me. And if you're asking me, and I'm saying it's wrong, but for you it's right, well, guess what? It's it's a contradictory opinion. So, one of the things that I started incorporating now is like, I don't I don't like really giving people advice anymore. I I I I you know, I I believe it's more so about consulting yourself and giving people tools um in order to be able to get that clarity within themselves. Speaking of clarity, your little hydrogen water that oh the stuff oh the uh oh yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I told you to unscrew the cap a little bit.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's okay. Uh that stuff's good stuff, but but hydrogen water, yeah, which provides additional clarity here. This is not sponsored.
SPEAKER_00That's good stuff. No, hydrogen tablet tastes like mineral, right? It tastes absolutely like mineral. I'd probably say it's probably done by now.
SPEAKER_01I'd probably say it tastes like um a little bit of uh like ocean water, but that's okay.
SPEAKER_00It's like rocky, but yeah, but that's what it's going to kind of like I don't I don't know, like it it opens up my eyes, right? You know, like that like fog that you have, yeah, just like I'm not gonna sit here and say colors get brighter and all these crazy things happen, but like it kind of does.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, well, you know what's incredible when you say that? Because we were talking about this, you know, before we started shooting the podcast, and you're like, dude, it feels like I get so much clarity, and that's exactly what I feel like after meditating at this point.
SPEAKER_00You know how many supplements I take?
SPEAKER_01Too many. I'm saying I do the methylene blue, yeah.
SPEAKER_00You don't need all that, all these different things.
SPEAKER_01You absolutely don't need all that. I know I don't need everything that you have is already inside of you. Yeah, but you see everything, everything you have is already inside of you. Once you know how to control your mind and control your energy that's inside of you internally, so that you don't need anything else.
SPEAKER_00What do you think about the um like the electro, what's it called? It's like the electro grounding that people are doing, right? Like they'll tie a piece of copper down and uh it creates electro. So basically, the entire body runs off these electric frequencies, right? Yeah, yeah. And you know, we're eating food, we're drinking water, we're doing everything else, but we're what we're lacking today is access to those electric frequencies. Why? Because we're inside all day, so we're not exposed to the sun, most people, right? And we wear rubber shoes, so our feet are never on the ground, and that's where a lot of it comes from. So, you know, could it be that we're just lacking that?
SPEAKER_01Well, I I I will say it's answer your question. I think it's if it works for you, I think it works, right? If if it's almost kind of like a placebo.
SPEAKER_00I haven't tried it. I don't know. I'm stuck in an office all day and I got rubber on my feet. Well, that's the thing, but but and I live on the 54th floor. I'm never touching a grid. Never seeing the sun pale as a girl. Closer to God, though. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01That's but uh you see, like it's it's almost like if if it works for you, then it works. Yeah, if you don't if you don't believe it works, then then I wouldn't even try it because what's the point? It's like people who are like, hey, you know, I don't think I think the I think the the lottery is a scam. Well then you should never be playing the lottery because you'll never win, right? Like it's it's almost like life can only demonstrate to you based on what your beliefs and perceptions are.
SPEAKER_00It it can't give you more than that. I feel like placebo isn't uh treated as serious as it should be. Oh yeah. And like what I mean is like in like in in in the world of science, right, where they give someone a sugar pill and then they'll give someone else ivermectin, right? And they'll see like what happens, right? But they both think they have something else or whatever. Um I think the effect of a placebo, right? Like if I like if the methylene blue, if I tell myself, oh, it's not working, it's not working, then it it it really doesn't work, yeah, right? Or if it was just blue water and someone lied to me and I thought it was working, I'd probably feel that same effect.
SPEAKER_01Um, so yeah, I mean I see and it's incredible because that just comes to show you the power of your mind. Yeah, it's it's the you being able to program yourself and say, hey, no matter what, like this is this is working, or it's not working. I remember I was here last time and you were telling me uh, you know, before you started your your business or or before you started working uh, you know, in the business, um, you were applying for another job, and then you got it, you got a response back from the job, and you just deleted the you just deleted the email and you didn't want to know.
SPEAKER_00You didn't want to know. Hey, am I in am I?
SPEAKER_01But why? Because you took away plan B and you just were just focused on plan A. And you're you you said this is the right choice, whether it's right, whether it's wrong, it's the right choice. And guess what? You made it the right choice. You made it the right choice. Um, and it's interesting because when you do something like that, even like the placebo effect, that that that sheer will and determination makes it right. You're also, you know, um neurochemically, what's what's happening is is that your brain is starting to fire and wire different neurotransmitters, which are it's which are putting you in the direction of like, hey, this is the right thing for you. It's uh it's quite an incredible thing, just the power of the placebo, the power of your thoughts, the power of your emotions. Uh, I I think I think nowadays you see a lot of, especially with with kids our age, you know, with the SSRIs and anxiety, the depression, like you're seeing that becoming more and more rampant. But guess what? Those are very powerful emotions, the emotions of anxiety, the emotions are of depression. And what society is telling you to do is hey, turn those emotions off.
SPEAKER_00If I wasn't, um I feel like learning to control my emotions, and I guess the word would be to be stoic about my emotions. It's good stuff. Yeah. Um, was one of my biggest keys to success was learning how to channel that. Um But not turning it off, right? Constantly feeling the stress, constantly feeling the anxiety. Looking back, these were all really good things. If I didn't have stress and anxiety, I would be broke. I don't know where I'd be. You know what I mean? Um, but yeah, that's why like I hate the SSRIs and all this bullshit because you're literally turning off the things that made me who I am. You want that shit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like you want that shit.
SPEAKER_01Like, I don't understand why, why I I think I think those emotions are kind of misconstrued though. You know, the the emotion of anxiety, the emotions of depression. It's your body giving you an indicator, like, hey, this is what you're thinking, this is what you're doing. It's not a positive thing. Change your habits of thoughts because if not, you're gonna create something that's unpleasant for you. And it's almost like say, say, like you're running low on gas and you see your gas gauge, it's on, it's on red, it's on, it's on empty, and you're like, nah, man, like I'm just gonna ignore that. And then you're driving your car and your car stops in the middle of the road. Your gas gauge is an indicator, same way that your emotions are an indicator for where you are in life. If something feels really, really, really good, it's good for you. If it's something feels awful, you know, depressing, it makes you anxious, it's probably not something for you.
SPEAKER_00You know, but at the same time, right? If if things always feel good, then when things feel good, they're not gonna feel great. But like you need both sides, you need the good, you need the bad, you need, you know, if you don't have the stress, the anxiety, the depression, and all those things happening, then when the good things happen, how do you appreciate it if it's just good all the time?
SPEAKER_01Well, absolutely.
SPEAKER_00And if I feel like these a lot of these people doing these, it's just numbing. It's just numbers.
SPEAKER_01But you see, like you need like the the thing is, is that the what what you know? I could say those things, and I'll use a different term, I'll use the term contrast. That contrast, it happens automatically. You don't have you don't have to force it, you don't have to be like, hey, I have to work super hard. Like that thing happens naturally. But what's interesting is that a lot of people when they do stuff like that, it's because they're paddling upstream. Imagine you're you're you're kayaking. I just recently went kayaking uh a few weeks ago with with my family. And it's literally all if you just stay in the kayak and you do nothing, like it'll it'll bring you downstream. Now, obviously, you know, paddling it makes it a little bit more fun, so on and so forth. But life is the same exact way. If you just go with the flow, don't fight against the trend, just go with the trend. Everything that that you want is downstream, the money, say the fame, the love, the relationship, the car, you know, the the the whatever it is that that you desire, it's downstream. But if you're pushing against things, well then you're actually going and making things harder for yourself, you're delaying what's meant for you, regardless.
SPEAKER_00When would you say in your life that you saw a um like a turn to success? Right? Because obviously you said you were going through a lot of shit at one point. I'm sure that took a toll on you financially, right? And then like when was because for me I could say there was a a physical turning point, right? Um and for me it wasn't like so dramatic, it was kind of just a realization that happened in ten seconds, like, alright, this is what I gotta do. And but for you, like when was that that snap? What was that moment for you by the way? Like when did um No, for you, like what was that for me? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I mean, look, I was I was showing up to work, I was going through the motions, I saw people making a lot of money around me, and I was like, yo, what am I doing wrong? Um, I was waking up at 4 a.m. I was going to the gym. I was uh getting on the train. On the train, I had a strict uh schedule. I would uh right when I got on the train, I would start reading a book. I'd read like five to ten pages. When I got to Harlem 125th, I'd start reading my manual. Then from the walk from the train to the subway, I would listen to a sales podcast, and then on the subway, I would kind of gear myself up, just listen to some music, hype up for the day. I'd walk down Wall Street, I'd get to work, I'd lock in for the day, I wouldn't take lunch, I'd stay on the phone all day, I'd double dial all day, I did everything. So I'm like, yo, I'm doing everything. What am I not doing? Like, how are other people um successful? And I'm not. And I think for me, the turning point was exactly that asking myself that question. As soon as I stopped asking myself that question and was like, yo, there's no doubt in my mind that I'm just gonna smoke everybody and be really good at this. And was I was like, just get all those thoughts out. That was it. And that was just one night. It was like a conscious decision walking home. I'm like, yo, why do I keep asking myself why I'm failing? Why do I keep putting myself through torment saying, what are you doing wrong? Trying to figure out everything that I'm doing wrong so I could do it right, rather than just saying, you're like, fuck that. I know who I'm gonna be in five years, let's just go. Put my my fucking pedal to the floor and go.
SPEAKER_01Pedal to the metal.
SPEAKER_00And it was that, it was it was literally just that decision, plus a couple other ways that was working, not you know, in my business, not following up with dog shit and like make a jump call and right things, right? But that all just came with it, right? Yeah, but um, for me, it was just like, yeah, there that that idea of all right, there's no doubt it's gonna happen. I'm gonna make it happen. And stop thinking about all the bullshit, that kind of just triggered it for me.
SPEAKER_01Well, so you know what's incredible? It's that thing right there where it's like all that chatter, all that doubt, all that noise that's in your brain, and that's telling you, like, hey, can I do this? Am I worthy? It can I even possibly imagine something like that, all that stuff. And I love what you said is that once you kind of silenced that doubt, that that that critical voice, that's when you went and that's when you started you know taking off. And you know, one of the things that I loved about the Monroe Institute is that the the the focus 10 that you know, uh conscious state is mind awake, body asleep. It's clearing out your mind where you're all those totes, you know, there are even when you say your mind, right?
SPEAKER_00We talked about that earlier. It's that chatter. I'm talking about that chatter mind.
SPEAKER_01I'm talking about that chatter, that that chatter in your brain that you have going back and forth.
SPEAKER_00So is that your physical mind or is that your um conscious mind, right? Because there's a difference.
SPEAKER_01I I okay, so it's not your brain, it's your mind, and then your conscious mind is is is above that, I'd say.
SPEAKER_00So talk tell me about like the structure of that.
SPEAKER_01Like I had so so you obviously you have your brain that's doing what I go, like the computation, then you have your mind, which essentially thinks and and sends inputs into your brain, and then you have your higher self or your conscious mind, uh where it sees everything. Imagine being like at the at the top of the mountain, um, and that's that's your conscious mind. It's where it's on the top of the mountain, it sees everything, and or I should say that that's your higher mind, it sees everything. And then obviously, when you're on the on the valley, you could only see what's ahead of you. And that's that's your that's your regular day-to-day mind. Um, but you know, those days where even now it still happens to me where it's like I'm just having a really bad day, and I'm just my mind is just racing. It's just like, hey, can I do this? I I plug in the headphones, I put in focus 10, mind awake, body asleep 10 minutes, five, you know, five, ten, fifteen minutes, it clears out my mind where I'm not thinking about all the all that stuff, and at that point, I'm actually able to go ahead and start building. Because the thing is, is that it's like you were saying earlier, like that, you know, the affirmations like I'm rich, I'm wealthy, I'm you know, uh, I deserve great things. But unless you feel that way, your body's gonna tell it to you, dude, you're lying, man. That's that's not you, like you're not rich, like you can barely pay your rent. But if you quiet that mind and then you're able to say those things, but to feel the emotions associated with it, that's a powerful thing. That's a powerful thing. Um, so to answer your question, what moment was that for me? Um, that moment actually was uh my junior year in college. It was for the first time in my life where I actually one started thinking for myself and kind of thinking about the future, but also started thinking it in an unconventional way. And I didn't have a job for the summer, I needed a job. And I was speaking with my roommate at the time, and I'm like, hey dude, like you know, what should I do? And he's like, so we mapped it out. He's like, Hey, you could either go and you know work as a delivery boy at our pharmacy, you'll make a guaranteed three thousand, four thousand dollars, like you know, like you'll be good, you'll be good, whatever. Or you could go and do door-to-door sales and 100% commission. There's no study paycheck, there were nothing. And I'm like, dude, like 100% commission, like door-to-door sales. I'm like, that's that's insanity. What are we selling by though? I'm just curious. Me? Yeah. Uh business loans. Okay, business loans. Okay, yeah. Um, but I had no idea though.
SPEAKER_00Like, my first day when I walked in, I thought I thought we were selling stocks.
SPEAKER_01Oh, who? Okay.
SPEAKER_00So like I was on the like, nobody told me really anything. I kind of just got on the phone and was like, okay, and then like after like an hour, I kind of figured it out myself, like what's going on. And yeah, like somebody gave me a manual and I got a quick pep talk.
SPEAKER_01Um but it was essentially trauma fire.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. It was uh, you know, I walked in my first day, I shook hands with you know three or five people, and then I put a headset on and a pitch landed on my desk. And I was like, all right, let's do it.
SPEAKER_01You got tossed tossed right into the fire.
SPEAKER_00Which I think is the best way to fucking you know. I don't I don't think you know too much. Sometimes the best way to go after something is to not know anything and just figure it out yourself and then get coached.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00Right? You don't know what two plus two is, figure it out, try your best. I'll come back in an hour and I'll tell you how to do it.
SPEAKER_01Don't overthink it. Yeah, that's exactly it. Be present. Um, but that job right there actually it changed the trajectory of my life because yeah, you know, at that point I start thinking about possibilities. I think when I was 19, it was the first time that I thought of that I could actually be a millionaire. Like before that, I was like, oh yeah, like you know, I'll work for 20, 30 years, like eventually I'll save up to like have a million. And then when I was 19, that was like the first time where I'm like, oh shoot, dude, like, dude, I could actually become like filthy rich, like just because like you know, I never really had nobody like that around me when I was growing up. And for the first time, I started thinking about possibility, but that's also a great job because when you're doing sales, when you're when you're it's just in the when you're exchanging that type of energy, when you're learning how to talk to people, something magical happens because now you're you're just learning how to communicate your stories or your ideas or your perspectives, and it's essentially just persuasion, but in a way that is suitable and works for both parties, yeah. Yeah, so that's that really changed our trajectory. It broke me out of my shell before that. I was very introverted, I was very like closed off, scared of the world. After that, I became super extrovert. I want to talk to everyone, and it it felt like life was supposed to feel like like a game.
SPEAKER_00I I mean my experience in sales, I feel like sales is 90% um relationship and 10% product, right? And I say that because all the deals I've ever closed were strictly based off of who I am as a person, the likability, right? Um the relationship I built with the guy on the other end of the phone. And you know, at the end of the day, it never really came down to product or what I had to offer. It was always strictly relationship-based. Right. And that helped me a lot, right? It helped me learn how to talk to people, how to, you know, uh really just like carry myself, to be honest with you.
SPEAKER_01But um Yeah, being likable, have having people like you, and and also just being in that in that in that in that flow state where where things just kind of happen naturally, it's an incredible thing.
SPEAKER_00Well, they they in sales they call it the Girl Scout effect, right? And what that means is I come up to you on the street, you don't know me, right? And I'm like, hey, buddy, you want to buy, I have a box of chocolate, you want to buy one, you kind of like shove me off, like you're on the phone, like get the fuck out of here, right? But when a Girl Scout comes to your door and is selling you Samoan cookies or whatever, right? You're like, oh yeah, like let me, yeah, let me buy, even if you hate them, right? You could be allergic to them, it doesn't matter, right? You end up buying them. Why? Because you're there's a relationship happening where it's like, all right, I know who these people are. Okay, it's a Girl Scout, you know what I mean? Let me show my support, let me be a nice person, right? And it really comes down to that likability, right? Like, all right, um, I'm gonna buy from this person because it's a Girl Scout who's working hard, going door to door, and I know what the Girl Scouts are and I uh Girl Scouts are, and I want to support the cause, right? But we take that into sales where it's like, all right, when I get on the phone, we need to be instantly likable, right? And it's hard to be instantly likable when you're a guy on the other line and you know your high pressure sales tactics, yeah. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Well, it's funny, it's it's almost like that saying of like be like water, yeah. Fit into the container that's that's that's there, right? And it's it's kind of like I mean, it's for sales, it's for life, it's literally for everything. Be be like water. It doesn't mean you know change yourself. Water doesn't change itself, it changes, you know, it fits the mold of the container, but that that right there is is a is a great characteristic and attribute that honestly, um, you know, it it it changes the way that you interact with people.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, let's take a quick break. We're back. We're back back in action. You got your hydrogen water fixed?
SPEAKER_01Dude, I I I chugged my hydrogen water. What is what is that?
SPEAKER_00That's a little after the same thing, but it's a uh machine rather than a pill. Bro, it's oh look at that noise you just made.
SPEAKER_01It's good, yeah. Yeah, it's the hydrogen. Bro, that's some that's important stuff. You ever seen like those bottles? It was like little decorations where it was something similar to that. That's what I thought you had originally. It was like it just made like these bubbles and it was colorful. It looked just like that, but no, yeah.
SPEAKER_00This thing like that's actually uh ultraviolet light or something that like kills bacteria in the water, but that just puts hydrogen in you, that's what the advertisements are.
SPEAKER_01And then you start flying, bro. Yeah, that's what you do, and then that that's also that that also has hydrogen, yeah. It's all mixing up together, it'll do its job. Oh man. Um, now you're gonna ask me all the tough questions, right? Yeah, now they're coming. Now they're coming. Good thing I didn't prepare.
SPEAKER_00All right, we'll kick it right off. Um, for people who want lasting change in their life, yeah. What would you recommend they do?
SPEAKER_01Well, look, that's that's a great question. I'm gonna give you three things. Uh-huh. Meditation doesn't count because meditation is uh is a is a given. You know, take some time for yourself, just quiet your mind, quiet your thoughts, quiet your emotions, and just allow yourself to just be zen. Um, I'll give you an example for for before I go into my three, I'll give you an example. Imagine going into like a very loud, busy room and trying to you're calling you're looking for your friend, you're calling your name. Imagine that in the loud, busy room. Your friend can't even hear you. Now imagine going to a nice, silent, quiet room and asking calling for your friend's name. They hear you instantaneously, automatically. And that's exactly what your mind is like. When your mind is busy and you're trying to search for an answer, you're trying to search for something, you're like nobody's home. There, there is there is no reception. Versus when you have a quiet mind, things just happen instantaneously. Um, but now three things. So, first things first, um, there's this one powerful technique. It's it was by Neville Goddard. It's called a state akin to sleep. So by who? Neville Goddard, who was a mystic back in like the 1950s, 1960s. His whole philosophy is that you know, you want to act as if things are already, you know, happening. You want you wanna you don't wanna, you know, in instead of being saying I'm a millionaire, start acting as if you already all are a millionaire. Or if you want to be in love, you know, start being loving towards yourself and towards others already, you know, pretend like you're already married and in love in that in that in that state. So right before we go to bed, our brain goes into what's what's known as as theta mode. So our brain waves slow down, and then that's where the the bridge between the conscious and the subconscious, the subconscious, that actually opens up. And as we know, our subconscious mind is 90% of the programming that's happening for us on the daily.
SPEAKER_00So his whole thing is neurolinguistic problem, neuro neurolinguistics. That's it.
SPEAKER_01But here's so so here's the thing. So right before you go to bed, your mind is the most receptive to whatever you're you're feeding it. So his whole thing is right before you go to bed, imagine a scenario. So say, say you want to be, you know, say you want to say you want to get married, you want to find love. He said, create a scenario in your mind that would imply that you are married. Perhaps it's you know, going on Sunday to church with your spouse, or say it's going, you know, to a for a picnic, or say it's going for a walk, something that's natural and that would imply to you that that this is what your life is. And now, right before you go to bed, imagine that scenario, give it some emotion, feel as if you were there. Wow, I'm in love. This is incredible. This this woman that that I've been envisioning, imagining. Um, you know, it's and feel that. And then right before you go to bed, imagine that's imagine that scenario. Do that for a few days, you know, seven days, 30 days, within 30 days, you will see your whole perception on life change. And guess what? Before you even know it, that person will come into your life. That's one. Two, what I call is the rampage of ramp rampage of appreciation. Find things to appreciate, you know. Hey, I appreciate this. So, like before I even came out here, I was just thinking about this podcast. I was thinking about, you know, the the energy, the you know, how this is all gonna play out. And I'm it's gonna be electric. I texted the group chat, I'm like, this is gonna be an absolutely electric because I already felt the momentum, the energy coming out there. So start by finding things to appreciate in your life, whether it be where you're living, whether it be where you're staying, uh, whether it be your friends, your you know, people, your co-workers. Um, it's also I I'll give this one little thing. It's like say you're you have a coworker and you hate their guts. Go home, write down five things that you appreciate about them. You'll notice how instantaneously the next thing you come into work, your relationship with that coworker changes automatically because now you shifted the energy from that negative into that positive. And then my third thing that that I that I'd say is you want to act as if act as if it's already happening, act as if it's already done. If you're going in for a job interview, don't say or be like, hey, I I hope they picked me up. No, walk in as if, hey, I already got the job. The job is mine. Yeah, we do talk from the point with confidence with our sales guys.
SPEAKER_00It's you know, it's the same thing. The act as if um always be closing. Always be closing in. That's right. But you know, act as if you're already the guy who who you want to become, you have to act as him now, right? And then everything just starts to fall in line, the domino effect starts to come, right? But the thing is, um, it's hard for a lot of people to crack that mental state and act as if when they're not currently in that situation.
SPEAKER_01Well, and and it it's a beautiful thing because we spoke about this last time where it's like, how do you want you want to collapse time? This is how this is how you do it. If you were to be the guy, I think you were talking about this where you're like, if you were to be the guy, you know, five years from now, what would your life look like? I would have X, I would have Y, I'd have Z, so on and so forth. And now it's like, okay, pretend that you already are that person right here, right now. And then that's how you collapse with time. So for something that that would take you five years, now it's it's happening, you know, right here, right now, because you're already embodying that person and that individual. And then on the on the flip side, is it's you said something perfectly where you're just like, yeah, it's hard for me to, you know, it's hard for these people uh or these sales guys in order to pretend like you know they're living that kind of lifestyle. And the reason why is because you're looking at what is, and you're only getting your life, is only bringing you back more of what is. The only way you could actually change your life is by looking at how you want life to be. You kind of have to be a little, you know, delusional in in the sense of looking ahead of things that aren't here in the physical world, but will be here and are prepped up for you.
SPEAKER_00There's a lot of um there's a lot of outside variables now, too, that I think have both positive and negative effects, right? For example, Instagram, right? So these guys are looking on Instagram, I'm not gonna say all day long, but for a good part of the day, and they're seeing all these things, you know. And I guess that goes back to perspective and how you perceive it, right? Some people look at it and they'll get fuel from it, they'll say, Oh, I want that, right? You know, post a picture with a yacht and all this shit that everybody wants, whatever. Um, and some people will really want it, some people look at it like, oh man, I don't have that, right? And they have a very negative outlook on it.
SPEAKER_01You know what's you know, what's interesting about that, what you say, is that when you know you want something and you know you can have it, how excited do you feel? You're like, dude, I could have it. You know, if if you have a hundred dollars and you want to, you know, say uh, I don't know, a $50 toy, and you know you could have it, you you feel really good about that thing. But now, if you want something and you don't believe that you could have it, you actually feel off put by it.
SPEAKER_00You know, I can tell you firsthand, um, all the things that I enjoy in my life, you know, when when when I had no money and I started making a lot of money, and I thought, okay, getting the car, getting the watch, getting this, getting that, that's all gonna be cool. It's cool for like 48 hours. Yeah, and then all the things that I love doing are like they don't cost any money. I like going fishing, it's very cheap and affordable. I love taking my dirt bike out, very cheap and affordable. I love boxing, it's like one of the most affordable sports out there. Um, you know, I I I feel like the the system has programmed us around money, and I feel like the root of it was power, right? Like originally it was power, and then money was created as a trade commodity, but also as a control product, right? Alright. And then hundreds of years later, there's guys like me and you who will live our whole lives from the age of 16 to the day we retire, chasing money, trying to get money, right? And not and all the important things are just flying right past us. Right. And that kind of leads me to my question, right? Where I think um, you know, and I'll ask you, do you think we're all performing a character?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Uh, so I'm gonna answer that question, but I just want to answer your previous point. Yeah, because I actually find this so interesting, and I'm actually really glad and happy that we're doing this podcast. Uh, because I think the world needs more of these type of conversations. Because at the end of the day, what do people really want at the core? Do they really want the money? Do they really want the fame? Do they really want that big house? What they really want is wholeness. Yeah, you want to feel whole, you want to feel one with the people.
SPEAKER_00But you know, you don't a lot of people don't realize that until they make the money, and they realize it wasn't really all it was chalked up to be.
SPEAKER_01But you see, it's almost like if you work in a clawy or where you're hard enough, and then you'll get the money, and then you and then you're like, okay, like what's next? What's next? What's next? Because it was never about the money, it was about the game, it was about the game, it's always been about the game. But but it's it's always about how it makes you feel. Why do you want anything in life? Yeah, why do you want the pretty girl? Why do you want the uh you know the the lots of money? Why do you want you know a successful business? It's because you feel that you think that you feel better in the having of it, but if you could kind of take a step back and just realize that if I could feel that way right now, then that those things not may come into my life, but they must. It's the laws of the universe. The laws of the universe say that you know, for example, like the law of attraction, yeah, that which is like unto itself is drawn. If you envision that if you envision something in your in your brain and and you feel it in your heart and you feel those emotions, it has to come into your life for it is law. It is the law, yeah. Um, now your question law of attraction goes way back to Seneca, no? I mean, it's uh we utilize it's one of those laws that we utilize every single day. And I I love what people say the law of attraction does not work.
SPEAKER_00You know, I re I really like how Connor McGregor paints the law of attraction picture. Yeah, he's really good at that. I don't know if you ever, yeah, I don't know if you've ever heard um when he was explaining how he's like Vincent Van Gogh. Did you ever hear any lost his mind in the process? And you know, this is when Connor was a fluid, really good fighter, just locked into the game. Um and you know, you gotta you gotta you gotta see people in their prime, right? And most athletes and you know high performing individuals that we've seen at least televised in their prime, it was never about the money, right? In McGregor's prime, it was never about the money. I guess one guy you can say, maybe Mayweather, um, it was always about the money, but there's always gonna be an anomaly, right? Maybe not, maybe not, you know. Who knows what goes through his mind. But for most of these high performing individuals, there was a strong passion, and more importantly, a uh some kind of like dominance in their brain that they just need to beat the game, they need to win the game, they need to play the game, they need to beat the you know, like a chess. It's just playing chess. Yeah, yeah, it's like playing chess, right? And um I I I think the way that he went about it, saying how he lost his mind in the process, um kind of like Vincent Van Gogh was really eye-opening. Um, because you know, it's a perfect example of it not being about money and it being all about the process. And that was that was the beautiful thing for me, like on the way to success, right? Was the process itself, right? It's like climbing a mountain, and then you get you know, you you feel like you get to the top and you you pull yourself over and you're like ready to see flat land, and then all of a sudden it's like a steeper mountain that now you're climbing backwards, right? And it's it's that process that you end up like really appreciating, and you don't really care about the outcome, but you do really care about the person that you became getting there.
SPEAKER_01But and that's a really beautiful thing. I mean, I I just get a smile. I'm smiling ear to ear just thinking about this because that's really just life in and of itself. Yeah. I know I know people say, Oh, it's all about the journey, it's all about the journey, not about the destination. And sometimes we we try to make it seem like it's all about the destination, but really But that all sounds like noise until you live it, until you live it, until you realize that it's always right. It's it's the journey. It's even like you know, coming here, you know, sitting down for this podcast, like what happens on once we once it starts streaming, who cares? Like, but it's all about this, it's just the conversations that we're having. Like it's it's it's when when things don't work out for you, and just realizing, hey, it's all part of life, but that's giving a birth to a new desire. Uh, you know, that's that's the beautiful thing about it. And sometimes it feels like a little discouraging when when you feel like you're climbing up the wall, climbing up to the wall, and there's nothing there, but then you realize that those are the calluses that you actually needed for later on in life. And they say that, you know, do situations you know actually actually change, or do you just get better at handling them? You get better, you know, and and that's the thing. Like everything is working out for you. Life is working out for everyone. It's working out for me, it's working out for you, it's working out for our producer, everybody. Everything is working out, everything is working out. Our producer fell. Big shout out to our producer, Phil, also known as the director.
SPEAKER_00But you know, everything is working out for director, and our producer Phil.
SPEAKER_01But you see, that that's the whole thing about life where it's like even those things where you feel like it's not working out for you, it's working out for you. You your job that you so hate, it's giving birth to a new desire, a new job, your relationship that's falling apart, it's giving birth to a new relationship that's you know, it's all it's all the the yin and the yang, the the the question and the answer, the the problem and the solution. And once you see kind of life that way, well, then you never really arrive the lows too low, and the highs just get so much better. Um, also, one thing I'll I will say about kind of like with meditating, you know, for now going on to like two years of meditating, those lows, when I do experience them, they never go, you know, deep in the ground or like in the crater. I still, you know, you still have you know bad days, but that that refraction period for you to get back to that high, it's that much shorter. And then everything else just feels ah by the way. So the over the summer, I I created this new theory. It's called the cherry on top theory. And the cherry on top. And the whole idea behind it is that be so loving, be so whole, be so complete with life, where everything else just feels like the cherry on top. You know, you got a promotion, oh, cherry on top. Oh, um, you found a beautiful person today, oh, cherry on top. Oh, you you got um you won the lotto, whatever cherry on top, yeah, because you don't need that thing in order to make you happy or some in order to make you whole, everything else is just a cherry on top. Somebody open the door for you, and it's a beautiful way to live life because it's going in the flow, in the flow of of life.
SPEAKER_00Uh essentially uh feeling complete, yes, while in the reality and perspective of others, most likely being incomplete. Exactly. But feeling complete this way you cherish and respect everything that comes from.
SPEAKER_01Of course, because if if you feel broken, you you you you can't be made whole. It just doesn't work that way. You gotta start feeling whole in order to actually be whole. Your question.
SPEAKER_00Are we all performing a character?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I love this question. Um short, I'm I'm gonna answer the the short answer is yes, uh, but the longer answer is we're all perceiving life through a certain type of lens, you know. We it we're per the or this is our personal reality. But what's your personality consist of? It's just based on your personality, it's how you think, how you act, and how you feel. If you want to perceive life differently, if you change how you think, if you change how you act, if you change how you feel, your life outside of you will change. And this is a great question because there's certain people who want to change or change their personal reality, change their life, but they're unable to do that. And the question is why? Because unless you change yourself, you can't actually change your life. That's the hard part. You have to change yourself. If if you want to be, you know, somebody who is in love with life, you gotta be somebody who's in love with life. You can't be groggy and upset, but it's also so interesting because it's like, have you noticed where it's like the millionaires hang out with the millionaires, the broke people hang out with the broke people, you know, like the the pretty girls hang out with the pretty girls, the the the the the the jocks hang out with the jocks. Why is that? We're all in these clicks because we're all and and and notice how they all usually think the same, they usually dress the same, they usually act the same. It's all part of that thing.
SPEAKER_00Well, they say, right, you're always gonna be a uh reflection of the people that you surround yourself with. Yeah, right. What is it? How does it go? Five people, the five people, the five people closest to you are the reflection of the city. You're an average, essentially, right? And uh sometimes it's cutting certain people off, moving on, finding new friends, surrounding yourself with the right people. Um I guess that that makes the difference.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, and and look, so as as we're going on through life, you know, we're playing different kinds of you know, personalities, we're we're playing different kinds of characters, right? For example, like you're you're Jake, but you're not just Jake, you're Jake the boxer, you're Jake the Jim Garer, you're Jake the businessman, you're Jake the salesperson, you're Jake the brother, the father, the podcaster. Perhaps not father, at least not yet. Yeah, not father, but but but the boyfriend, like the the podcaster. You're playing all these different kinds of characteristics and and and and and personalities that are all within you. I'm just trying to be like Forrest Gone.
SPEAKER_00You know what I mean? I'm trying to do bro.
SPEAKER_01This is the Jake Skinel show.
SPEAKER_00I'm trying to do, I'm only here for so long. I'm trying to do that.
SPEAKER_01This is the this is the number one podcast on the show.
SPEAKER_00We'll have uh on the back of the mics. Phil.
unknownMike Flags.
SPEAKER_00Mike Flags, thank you, Phil. Thank you, Phil. We'll have Mike Flags next time. We'll be official.
SPEAKER_01We'll be official. Well, you see, we're we're all just playing different characters right now. Right now, you you're you're being the host of your show. Yeah, not being the guy. I know as we leave here, you know, we take on different roles and responsibilities, but then again, that's also the beauty the beautiful thing about life is that we're not just one thing, that's the complexity of life. We're playing, we have these different personality trees, these different characteristics that are within us and all amongst us.
SPEAKER_00Let me ask you, let me ask you one one other question outside the box, right? What do you think happens when we die? Oh my gosh, I love this question.
SPEAKER_01I'm actually really glad you asked this question. Uh, the Monroe Institute goes heavily into this, and uh the Monroe Institute, you know, I feel like it's one of those unanswered questions that everybody has in the back of their mind, right?
SPEAKER_00Everyone wonders, everyone knows someone that they were close to that passed away. Yeah, everyone sits there and wonders, right? But when my grandma passed away, I was given a sign, which you know, I don't want to say that I wasn't um how do I say this? Right, I I believe, I believe a lot, but I didn't think that a sign was gonna be so physical and in front of my face, yeah, where it's like so obvious.
SPEAKER_01Um that was like really the only reason why you got that sign back, the only reason why you got that sign is because you were ready to receive it.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah, I was kinda I was subconsciously asking for it. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01If you're not ready to receive it, you'll never get that sign, even though it may be perhaps glaring or obvious, you just won't receive it. Um what do you think? You see the the whole thing about death is one of those things where if you knew that you survived physical death, and there was no such thing as a death experience, except perhaps this life dream that this life that we're having now is just all a dream, and then you woke up from it and we're like, Oh, okay, that was just a dream, I'm back to it. Kind of like when you have a dream, and this is kind of what your human experience is like. But if you knew that you certain if you survived physical death and there's no such thing as a death experience, and you went after you that you died and you went back into pure positive love, pure positive energy, how much differently would you look at life? How much fear would be eliminated from your life experience? When you're when when I was at the Monroe Institute, there was only one piece of you know, one thing they wanted us to consider, and it was that you are more than your physical body. It wasn't religious, it wasn't, you know, even spirit, quote unquote spiritual. They just want you to just just think about one thing you are much more than your physical body, and going in with that kind of mindset kind of you know shifts everything because now you're realizing that you know you're connected, it's like you're playing a much bigger role in this web of everything that's going on around us. And if you know that you survived physical death, let's take it a step further. This is not your first human life experience. You've had multiple past lives, and then so then the question is like, so then why are we here? And then the question is, you know, the the the we we as humans, we could be anything, you know, that that we so choose. There are other galaxies or other universes, there are the spheres which we could tap into. The only thing is is that we're so addicted to being human that we come back and do it again. We're addicted, we're addicted. You're watching me with all my advice. Being a human, there you go. That's the zen. Being a human is actually a very addicting experience. For example, you live your life experience and you'll you'll come back and be like, nah, you know what, man, I didn't have I didn't have enough tattoos last time. I want more tattoos. I'm gonna come back and have a sleeve this time. Yeah, or or you could be like, hey man, you know, I didn't have enough sex. I want to I want to go out and have more sex. Or I didn't date enough. I want to go out and you know and date more. Or, you know, I I I didn't eat all my fast foods and shit. But it's such something so so small. And the thing is, we get trapped into this kind of like this cycle, but it's interesting, you know, with with with uh, you know, slowing down your brain waves and actually being able to see and perceive you know more than what's actually going on, you're you'll you start understanding life in a much better better sphere. There was going with the flow of life.
SPEAKER_00There was a cool documentary. Um, are you familiar with Angel Studios? Sounds very familiar. Uh, I think like it's like it has something to do with Mel Gibson, but it's a um it's like a Netflix, but it's their own thing, and everything on there is produced by Angel Studios. There was a good documentary um on there about people who had near-death experiences and actually a few of them died and were resuscitated, and they were all interviewed, and they said they they they gave examples of what they saw. The weird thing was they were all interviewed separately, and they all had commonalities between all of their stories. And um I don't know, I found it really interesting because obviously that's a question I've always asked myself. Like, yeah, you'd have to be crazy to not wonder. I feel like everyone wonders what happens when you die, right?
SPEAKER_01I mean, it's a it's a it's an interesting question, and I think religion does its best way. You know, they talk about the afterlife, they talk about heaven and hell, and uh, I'll be honest with you, I I think those are more fear tactics where it's like you go to heaven and you go to hell. Uh from my understanding, you go you you re re-emerge back into non-physical energy, which is just pure positive love. And I'll tell you about a dream that I had a few years back. I think it was right around the COVID, perhaps a little bit before that. It was around 5 a.m. I woke up or or like I'm I'm I realized I go, I get up to use the bathroom, I come back, come back into bed, I fall asleep, and I realized that all of a sudden I'm having a dream. And as I'm in this dream, I I see this, you know, first things first, I feel just pure positive love. And like it's the most incredible feeling that I've ever felt in my life. And I'm kind of like I I'm walking what feels like you know the gates of heaven open, or like that's what I'm perceiving it to be. And then all of a sudden I see like this figure with I just see from like they're from from here, like almost like sitting, like essentially, like I'm sitting, but uh I perceive that to be sitting on the throne, and then I look up, and then their kneecaps just keep getting higher and higher, so I can't really like see the face, but then I look around me and I see the roses and the roses they're like illuminating, and and then I hear music, and I'm just like, wow, like these sounds like the are the most incredible things. And then I woke up and I was just like, Hold on, like I want to go back, so I try to close my eyes and I want to go back there, but I couldn't. I've done that, I've done that a hundred times, but you see, can't get back, right? But but you see, like that right there was like a sweet glimpse of like what happens once you actually pass away. You get into that pure right now, like you know, obviously, we're having a human life experience, you know, there's a lot of resistance, a lot of contrast, but like when you die, you re-emerge back into now physical where those things were where those things were you once wanted, you once desired, yeah, you become one with them, you become whole with them. So, like, and it's a beautiful thing. I just had a a dream of my grandmother, uh, you know, uh a few weeks ago as I was telling you about the gym, but it's essentially like we we were going through life, you know, together, and it was such a beautiful thing because she's there in and you know, there is no separation between that and what she wants or what she is, and then that's that's where like you have guidance coming coming through.
SPEAKER_00Do you think that that's a dream in the sense where your mind is creating it? Yeah, or do you think it's more than that? Do you think it's an actual connection of energy?
SPEAKER_01You know what's interesting is that quote unquote dream feels more real than me staring across from you right now. Yeah, that that feels more real. Coming out of that feels like, oh wait, this is nothing. That's where the good stuff is. Yeah, and when I was at the Monroe Institute, you know, when you're meditating for you know five, six, seven days, you start you know perceiving things a little differently. Like you feel a little lighter, you feel a little happier. Yeah, when I by the way, when I was there, it was I was like giddy as a kid. You know, you know, like when you were like not five, nine, ten.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I got it. So and so forth.
SPEAKER_01You were just happy, giddy. You weren't worried about where's my food coming from? You know, I gotta pay rent, I gotta do X, Y, Z. It was the most incredible life experience, um, just out there.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Wow, that was that was beautiful though. Um, I gotta say, I mean, it's it's I I love talking about these kind of topics, you know. When when does the Monroe Institute happen? Like let's say I wanted to do it. They have they have beginner sessions, which is called the Gateway Voyage, um, at least two or three times a month. And then you have more advanced, you know, at least once or or two times a month. The only thing is, you gotta register in advance. When I first heard about them, I think it was back in November. They wanted me to wait eight months. I said no way, kept refreshing, and uh within a month or two, I was there, um, having having that experience. So um I just think if if it's something you truly want, you know, I I think the powers that be, whatever you, whatever that is, it'll open up the those doors for you um when you're ready at the right time. But it's something that um, you know, I don't recommend a lot of things, but I think that experience right there, I I think I think it just shifts your perspective on life itself, but also more importantly, you get to know yourself a lot better. Who am I? Like, what do I want? What do I desire? Why do I want syringe?
SPEAKER_00Let me ask you a quick a quick question, right? Um DMT, yeah, psilocybin, yeah, yeah, um ayahuasca. Yeah, right. A lot of people use these as gateways, right? To I guess other realms or whatever you want to call it, um, to communicate, right? There's theories that the Egyptians use to build, right? It goes on and on. There's tests where people actually saw the same thing, but they were in two different rooms. So it's like maybe you are tapping into some kind of other dimension, maybe you're tapping into some kind of subconscious state. I don't know if you've ever taken anything like that, but what what's your opinion on that?
SPEAKER_01Well, what's interesting is from what I understand is drugs like that, they lift the veil between uh it's the third eye, essentially, right? It lifts the veil, so it shows you the world in reality forward. It's like I remember Joe Rogan once talking about this where he's like all the time, but he's he he I remember him specifically saying he's like if you ever feel sad or depressed or you feel like you're gonna end your life, like he's like, try DMT first, it'll change your perspective. And I think the whole reason behind that never done it, but I think the reason why it's because you're understanding your play, your role in this grander scheme of life and and the world and the universe as you perceive it, and that right there is empowering because sometimes you may feel like a no one, but then you really understand that you are everyone, right?
SPEAKER_00Makes sense. I um I've never done anything that extreme. I've microdosed psilocybin because I heard guys in Silicon Valley were doing it. Um I don't know. Let me wrap it up with uh what's your favorite quote?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I I love this question. So I'm gonna start with a story. So last year I'm meditating, I'm starting to feel better. It's July, I'm sitting on the beach, I hear the beautiful ocean waves going back and forth, back and forth. And there was a thought that came into my mind, and it was love life. Yeah, because when you love life, life loves you. And honestly, it's you know, I I started saying that, you know, love life, all of a sudden it spread, it spread like wildfower because you know, one, I I think people thought it was genuinely funny or or or hilarious, um, but two, it's the real practical perspective on it. When you love life with the energy that you're given off, whether it be a love or happiness, enthusiasm, that's what that's what ended up ends up coming back to you. And it's a lot more fun to live a joyful, loving, positive, productive life than it is, you know, on the contrary. So love life because when you love life, life loves you.
SPEAKER_00Beautiful.
SPEAKER_01But real quick, yeah, I know we're about to wrap up. It's the Jake Scannel show, episode number one.
SPEAKER_00Episode number one.
SPEAKER_01You know, I I came I came with a little gift. I came with a little gift.
SPEAKER_00Wait a minute, wait, before you do that, did you read the book I gave you on the last attempt? Um, that's not on Air. Greatness, but look, don't worry about looks on there.
SPEAKER_01This is this is to commemorate this is uh a bottle of Moe right here. It's to commemorate this great moment for the great Jake Scannell. Thank you. God bless more. I wish you great success. Also, one more thing. We're recording this on the 8th 28th, August 28th. Very important day. And the reason why I told you this is because eight in in uh in Chinese um uh numerology is is one associated with money, and two is associated with infinity, and 28 is actually associated with wealth. If you look at Rolex, all of their uh watch uh day dials are are on 28. Um, and the same thing for a lot of the watch companies, you know, that you'll see you either see an eight or a 28. So I'm wishing you great success, um, great wealth, and also just uh you know everything to be flowing downstream.
SPEAKER_00Like water, like water, god bless. Beautiful. Let me uh next time we'll um because you mentioned the Chinese. I like to talk about dragons. Um, but we'll we'll we'll get into that next time. Well, love life. Um, I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say do do more. Do more in uh in your love life. Sorry, Siddell. Thank you, brother.
unknownThank you.
SPEAKER_00All right, bro.
unknownHold on.
